This dive was done on August 24th 2008 on the Jane Sea Wreck off of the South Coast of Aruba. The deck of the wreck (technically an artificial reef) is at about 60 feet deep. The propeller at the stern of the ship is at about 95 feet deep. The wreck lies at the bottom of a moderately sloping reef.

Dive on an old wreck located in St. Clair River. 40 degree air, 40 degree water. Strong Currents. Wreck is likely from early to mid 1800s. Divers Rick Saterstad and Al Mida.

1944 年 9 月アメリカ合衆国第 3 艦隊は、合衆国サウスニュージャージー号上の「雄牛」ウィリアム・ハースリー提督の指揮下にありました。第 38 機動部隊はフィリピンの日本の標的に対し、空襲実行の任務に就いていおり 9 月 24 日午前 5 時 50 分、 350 マイル (560 km) 先の目標地域へ飛び立ちました。戦闘機 F6F HELLCAT や爆撃機 SB2C HELL DIVER など総計 180 機がこの時歴史上最長の空襲を行いました。午前 9 時に航空機部隊はコロンに到着し、コロン湾に停泊している 15-18 隻の敵の大型船を発見しました。彼らが去ったわずか 45 分後、残っていたのは燃える油とマンガン、そして爆発し沈没する船の地獄でした。

This is my buddy and I doing our last dive during our PADI Wreck Diving course with Phoenix Dive, in April 2007.
